  1. Random Jen thoughts:

Jenny made up her own joke, based on her name:
Something along the lines of: What do you call a vacuum cleaner that is really fast and good?
Answer: GoVacs ( I absolutely remember this answer but only 60% on the question)
    She was eight.

For those who don't know, she is an outstanding roller-skater.

She was making a sign to welcome us to Kay’s house and had a spoon in her mouth and somehow fell over (?) and damaged her throat, so when we arrived at Dover Heights, Jenny spend the next week in pain and got sick of eating those icy pole things Kay would give us. Not once did she complain or whine about it – she’s tough.

Japan – Arthur Anderson busy season that she survived for five years – she would work 20 hours a day and could barely walk when she got home. Big parties afterwards, followed by some major sleep catch ups. Intensity of her work was extreme and would start in late January for three months of hell. Hard worker and doesn’t quit.

We had 1000 yen ($10) and we were in Hiroo outside an international supermarket, money was tight but we needed a treat. Jen went in and picked up two of the most amazing peaches and we sat outside this store eating them with juice everywhere and very sticky hands – they were the best peaches I’ve ever eaten and I remember so clearly because it was so very Jen to pick them out – not what I would have picked or what I expected. Jen has always known what to bring to someone’s house and it’s always unique and perfect – whether it’s mini macroons, Gumnut books for the kids, fresh strawberries and fixings for daiquiris. Jen’s “Loud and Lairy 21st Birthday Party” - hard to explain and describe but it’s all innately Jenny.

Style – she’s got it and has really developed it over the years – Jen goes for quality over quantity and wears whatever she has so well. NYC just before she got married – black knee high boots, chocolate brown skirt, orange and brown top and then a burnt orange scarf. Gorgeous! Jack’s christening – pale pink sleeveless top with a green, white and pink skirt (knee high) and perfectly matching shoes (green, pink and white). Amazing!

    Incredible Japanese language skills.

Pilates – she’s got the flattest abs around!! Jen got me into Pilates nearly two years ago – we turn up together to my first class – I’m dying, she doesn’t work up a sweat. When she comes back to class after maternity leave with Amber, it’s like she hasn’t missed a day – still incredulous about this … she also took it a step further and was doing push-ups in plank!!!!!!

Close friends and family – she (and Will) have such an amazing support system around them. It’s so good, it prevents us from catching up with them as much as we would like as they are social butterflies and are always booked out for a month in advance. Testament to them both!

Her love for her parents, Cathy and Andy - the Kovacs are such an incredibly supportive and loving family. Her love for Will and her girls - beautiful to see her bloom as a mummy!
